Bimosegaard Refugie

Refugie means "refuge".

Just as animals and plants have survived for millennia in small ecological refuges when living conditions became difficult, we humans sometimes need to withdraw from everyday life to find space, time and peace for contemplation.

We offer this opportunity by renting out our lovely apartments for those who need a break. Whether it's a longer holiday or just a few days away from the familiar.

Our place is a child-free spot

Faldsled is located in the most beautiful surroundings on South Funen overlooking the Funen Archipelago. You'll find untouched coastline, charming thatched half-timbered houses, forest and beach, a beach park with sauna and a cosy little harbour - all in the immediate vicinity.

The area also offers a variety of great cafés and eateries, including, of course, the pride of the town, our neighbour, Falsled Kro.

About the Refugie apartments

The small red half-timbered house, Assensvej 510, from 1856, has been carefully renovated and contains two fine apartments "Jordnær" and "Overskud", each of approx. 60 square metres with their own entrance and code lock.

Both apartments have a living room, kitchen and bathroom and sleep 4 and 6 people respectively.

We have prioritised good beds, down duvets and pillows as well as high-quality cotton satin bed linen. In addition, our intention has been for the apartments to inspire calm, homeliness and cosiness.

Each apartment has a terrace, and the "Jordnær" apartment also has a conservatory.

As we favour peace and tranquility, we have chosen not to have TVs in the rooms

There is a carport at the house and we also have parking spaces behind the large white barn on our property.
