Geopark: Tåsinge Vejle

Previously, Tåsinge Vejle was a small meltwater valley created during the last ice age

Formerly a small meltwater valley created during the last ice age that was partially flooded during Holocene sea level rise. Today it appears as a reclaimed coastal lagoon with meadows and wetlands, cut off from the sea by a dam/road.
