Project: UNDINE II
Project description: In 2017-2019 we were part of the Interreg-project: UNDINE II. Together with seven other partners and eight network partners we shall work on the western Baltic’s underwater world.
Purpose:
To make the fascinating underwater world of the western Baltic an attractive offer to guests who wish for an active maritime vacation (diving, snorkelling and experiencing nature). We are to make the nature accessible and therein expanding the tourism revenue without damaging the natural and cultural heritage of the sea.
The goal is to make sure that the underwater world makes new friends who will return again and again, and who participate in protecting the nature of the Baltic.
The work will be based on natural dissemination and environmental education to give a heightened awareness on the collective responsibility regarding the maritime living area
